The forklift is a material handling equipment utilized to lift and transport loads from one place to another. Every forklift component has a specific function. Different parts can be used to move the load either horizontally or vertically.

Mast
The forklift mast refers to all the components that lift and lower the load. There are different types of masts used for lifting loads to various heights: quad, simplex, duplex and triplex.

Power Supply

Frame
The frame of the truck carries all the largest parts of the forklift, like the counterweights, which are located at the back so as to prevent the truck from tipping when loaded. The frame consists of the overhead guard that protects the operator. The undercarriage holds the wheels, driveshaft and axles.
