End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are popular in the material handling business for their extreme flexibility. These machines have great performance features which are quite like sit-down electric forklift units.
Ideally, these forklift truck units are suitable for warehousing operation atmospheres which have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are usually less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These machinery are an excellent option for applications that require frequent off and on access, because their stand-up design is an excellent feature.
The reach truck is a loading machine used by a variety of companies who maintain a storage facility that involves the arrangement of finished products on pallets and supplies that are stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers safe and simple retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent choice for people who prefer to store pallets of products they do not require for immediate use in a safe and efficient way.
All standard reach truck units will have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the machinery. Telescoping blades are mounted to the out-rigging and can move up and down. The forks additionally have a hydraulic setup which allows the operator to lift the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This design not only provides a lot more balance to the overall load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
Once the selected shelf has been identified, the hydraulic forks swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into place. Typically, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet across without any problem, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
