Genie telescopic S-booms have a horizontal reach of between 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters and working heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters. Compared with different other aerial work platforms, telescoping booms have a much greater range of horizontal reach. Genie telescopic booms are designed with consideration to being able to access confined places during construction and industrial applications. They are also known for their ability to quickly maneuver through a job site with great traction and drive speed. The platform hydraulically turns 160° and can stay level through the whole range. Front-entry platforms come with 227 kilogram to 272 kilogram capacity for operators and tools and are available from 1.83 meters to 2.44 meters. Continuous, 360° rotating turntables offer quick, easy positioning for operators.
The Z-135/70 unit has a telescoping jib, called the Jib-Extend, that goes from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. This unit can also reach 110° vertically to give the user the ability to reach tasks that were unreachable by standard jibs before. A secondary reverse-articulating boom on the Z-80/60 unit gives the user 8.83 meters of up and over reach. This feature allows over and up reaching tasks to be completed with zero front arm swing.
The Fast Mast System built by Genie allows for time to be saved when both secondary and primary booms platform has to either be lowered or lifted without needing to lower the secondary boom. The Fast Mast system enables both booms to be fully elevated simultaneously. Both of Genie Fast Mast System's features lessens the time required for users to descend and ascend, increasing both production and efficiency.
