Narrow aisle lift trucks work by increasing the ratio of the storage space to the aisle width. Yale spotlights the single reach NR and the double reach NDR models for aisle widths of eight to ten feet. The Yale Narrow Aisle trucks provide a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment which has various control handle and stance configurations and use best-in-class ergonomics.
NR & NDR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: To be able to meet a wider variety of operations, there are numerous control handle configurations such as the choice of fore, the aft stance, and the side-stance options.
AC Motor Technology: The AC motor technology offers fast lifting speeds along with strong acceleration and deceleration. It has been designed for quick plugging in order to facilitate more responsive directional changes which combine to increase the amount of cargo moved during a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: The tapered roller and trunion mounting bearings are part of the mast reach assembly. This increases the mast durability and rigidity; along with the gusseted rear frame weldment, as well as the reach assembly carriage which are reinforced for long life.
Power Lowering: Yale offers industry leading lowering speeds and these uploaded speeds greatly improve the overall throughput and productivity.
Regenerative Lowering: The regenerative lowering is a terrific function which maintains lower oil operating temperature whilst reducing battery changes per shift.
Electronic Steering: The electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps and thus greatly reduces energy. The operator could adjust the steering tiller and the steer effort is actually technician adjustable in order to decrease operator fatigue. During the start-up process, drive tire centers start automatically.
Order Selectors: Order pickers are also called very narrow aisle trucks and the narrow aisle trucks. These equipment are made for the manual handling of racked loads which are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors lift both the operator and the load to its required height. This height can be over 30 feet. Like most turret trucks they are usually guided by wire or rail when used in very narrow aisle applications.
